I’m almost done with my semester of learning eye-opening architecture and interior design knowledge! I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned and what’s next. But first, here’s are some flowers from the Presidio that I snapped during a baseball practice while walking Maven.
Hello friends,
I just took my 12-year-old son to Top Golf for a Mom-Son event and had a blast driving some golf balls. By some miracle I started hitting really well, and a few other moms commented that I was pretty good. Was I? I remember going to a driving range twice over a year ago and hitting a bucket or two of 100 balls and just adjusting my swing until it didn’t hurt and I was getting the ball to go where I wanted.
I also started on some tech/nature projects just for fun. I’m not sure where an app or two will necessarily go but it’s great to do things for fun again!
I’ve been taking so many flower photos around the various parks in the bay area in a similar spirit of just having fun and going with what I find to be a meditative and good use of my time.
Art + Food + Design
Art House - apply at a hotel to be an artist-in-residence!
Little Luca - the best sandwich shop in the Bay area
Design Charette - I went to my first IIDA (Commercial Interior Design Association) design charette and had a blast! We were tasked with designing a community center for a Menlo Park-based tech company that feel some guilt and wants to give back.
